In Loving Memory of Chuck Walker
Chuck Walker was a devoted husband, loving father, and committed Christian. He was loved and admired by those who knew him well. His work as VP of marketing and Sales at Firstcare Health Plans opened the door for many opportunities for him to be active in his community, which he loved. One of those opportunities was to be an advocate and supporter of the American Heart Association.
At 55 years of age, he was a healthy active man, full of energy and a love for life. Yet... on November 29,2017, he suffered sudden cardiac arrest and died.
Many others have also experienced the loss, pain, grief, and “empty chair” of heart disease.
The importance of the American Heart Association cannot be understated. Their work in research, education, and early detection can reduce the number of tragedies to families in our community.
